29TH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME
Priest: Let us offer our prayer to the God who loves us and who always listens to those who cry out to Him by day and by night
Reader: For the Church; as we celebrate 60 years since the opening of the Second Vatican Council may we embrace once again that movement of the Holy Spirit to build up and renew the Church for our own times.
Lord hear us …………….………………………Lord graciously hear us
Reader: For the all God’s people; that Christians may find that strength in praying always and never losing heart.
Lord hear us …………….………………………Lord graciously hear us
Reader: For those in government; may they speak with voices of justice and have a true sense of duty and service towards those who they are elected to represent.
Lord hear us …………….………………………Lord graciously hear us
Reader: For those who mourn and grieve the loss of loved ones; may they find comfort in God’s love and in the support of the believing community.

Reader: For those who find they cannot pray; may the prayers of the whole community rise up on their behalf to sustain them and give them faith.

Reader: For those who suffer silently; may they be given the grace to share their pain with someone who can support them and lead them to path of healing and newness of life.

Reader: Let us remember especially today (Elizabeth Prescott, Vigil Mass); (Margaret Livesey, 10.00 am Mass); (The Parish, 6.30pm Mass) for whom this Mass is offered.
And also, all the Holy Souls and all those who have died recently, especially Frankie Billington, Maureen Frater, Wilfred Gallagher and Florence Richardson; may they rest in peace and rise in glory.
