27TH<\/sup> SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME<\/strong><\/p>\n

Priest:            <\/strong>We bring our prayers before Our Heavenly Father in the knowledge that He is merciful and provides for the poor and oppressed. <\/p>\n

Reader:          <\/strong>For Pope Francis and all leaders in our Church; may they always strive to live their own lives as a demonstration of the gospel and the service of the poor.<\/p>\n

Lord hear us \u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026.\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026Lord graciously hear us<\/p>\n

Reader<\/strong>:          For the leaders of our country; may they be granted the virtues of wise judgement, tolerant dialogue and responsible decision making, seeking always, not their own agenda, but rather the common good.<\/p>\n

                        Lord hear us \u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026.\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026Lord graciously hear us<\/p>\n

Reader:          <\/strong>For persecuted Christians throughout the world; may the Lord grant them perseverance in standing strong for their faith.  May their example give us the courage to proclaim our faith in the midst of the oppression which we face in our land in the forms of secularisation and spiritual apathy.<\/p>\n

Reader:          <\/strong>For those who are struggling financially; may they find help and support from a compassionate community which reaches out to those on the margins and positively seeks to help those who are most in need. <\/p>\n

Reader:          <\/strong>For the sick, the anxious and the lonely; may our parish community be a place of welcome, hospitality and true communion which brings healing and hope to people\u2019s lives.<\/p>\n

                        <\/strong>Lord hear us \u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026.Lord graciously hear us<\/p>\n

Reader:          <\/strong>Let us remember especially today (Walsan Family, Vigil Mass); (Philip Morris, 10.00 am Mass); (Frank & Linda Bevan and The Parish, 6.30pm Mass) for whom this Mass is offered.<\/p>\n

Also, for all those who have died recently, especially Monsignor Tom Mulheran, John Parkinson, Maureen Frater and Francis Billington; may they rest in peace and rise in glory.<\/p>\n
