THE MOST HOLY BODY AND BLOOD OF CHRIST<\/strong><\/p>\n

Priest:             <\/strong>As we bless God the Most High, let us offer intercession for the needs of all in the name of Jesus, the compassionate Saviour.<\/p>\n

Reader:           <\/strong>For Pope Francis and all the leaders of the Church;  may they bear witness to the compassion of Christ for the multitude, never sending anyone away, but gladly offering to all the word of God and the bread of life.<\/p>\n

Lord hear us \u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026.\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026Lord graciously hear us<\/p>\n

Reader<\/strong>:           On this \u201cDay for Life\u201d we thank God for the gift of life; in a special we pray for the elderly and infirm that they will be respected as valued members of the community<\/p>\n

Reader:           <\/strong>For our government and all those who are elected to serve our communities; may they pay heed to Our Lord\u2019s invocation to unity and seek ways to serve the common good.<\/p>\n

Reader:           <\/strong>That the hungry and homeless, those starved for daily bread or human dignity, may find in the disciples of Christ generous stewards of God\u2019s bountiful gifts.<\/p>\n

Reader:           <\/strong>For all father on this \u201cFathers\u2019 Day\u201d;  may they thank God for the gift of their children and may they be inspired by St  Joseph in their support of their children.<\/p>\n

Reader:           <\/strong>We pray for our children who receive their First Holy Communion for the first time this weekend and those preparing for Confirmation; may the Lord bless them and their families with the gift of faith.<\/p>\n

And also, all the Holy Souls and all those who have died recently, especially Joan Costello,  Joseph William Brookbank, Gerard Melling, Canon Moss O\u2019Connell and  William Atta Gyimah; may they rest in peace and rise in glory.<\/p>\n
