Priest:             <\/strong>Let us present our prayer to God Our Father who constantly provides for the needs of His people<\/p>\n

Reader:          <\/strong>For the Church; that adorned by one Spirit with a variety of gifts, the Church may delight in diversity and persevere in unity.<\/p>\n

                        Lord hear us \u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026.Lord graciously hear us<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Reader:          <\/strong>For the world; on this Peace Sunday, may nations lay aside the hatred and prejudice of the past, and seek to find new ways to build a future of common respect, justice and peace between all peoples.<\/p>\n

Lord hear us \u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026.Lord graciously hear us<\/p>\n

Reader:          <\/strong>For Unity among Christians; as we celebrate the Octave of Prayer for Christian Unity in the coming days, we pray that all those who bear the name of Christ will strive to work together in those areas where they share common ground and to seek greater dialogue in those areas where there is division.<\/p>\n

Reader:          <\/strong>For those facing important decisions; may they be attentive to the prompting of the Lord, taking to heart the words of Mary at the Wedding Feast of Cana: \u201cDo whatever He tells you\u201d.<\/p>\n

Reader:          <\/strong>For our Parish; may we seek ever new ways of reaching out to those on the margins of our community and try to share with them the wonderful gift of faith in ways that are attractive and truthful.<\/p>\n

Reader:          <\/strong>Let us remember especially today Elizabeth Prescott, (Vigil Mass); The Parish (9.30 am Mass); Sheila Woof, (11am Mass); David Carrigan (6.30pm) \u2026 for whom this Mass is offered.<\/p>\n

And also, all those who have died recently, especially May Marron, John Purdie, Brenda Towers and Fr Anthony Petty and all the faithful departed; may they be raised up on the last day.<\/p>\n
