BIDDING PRAYERS:  33rd SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME<\/strong><\/p>\n

14th November 2021 Remembrance Sunday<\/strong><\/p>\n

Priest: <\/strong>            Let us now place before Our Heavenly Father prayers of intercession for the Church, our world, our local community and our own personal needs.<\/p>\n

Reader:          <\/strong>For the Church; may it be alert to signs of the times, informed by the eyes of faith, to lead her people in paths of righteousness and truth.<\/p>\n

                        Lord in your mercy; hear our prayer.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Reader:          <\/strong>For all peoples of earth: that nations may facilitate an effective distribution of the earth\u2019s resources, seeking to provide especially for those in most need.<\/p>\n

                        Lord in your mercy; hear our prayer.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/strong><\/p>\n

Reader:          <\/strong>For the gift of peace; may we recognise that peace begins in our own lives by leaving aside gossip and harsh words and becoming people of generosity and gratitude<\/p>\n

                        Lord in your mercy; hear our prayer.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/strong><\/p>\n

Reader:          <\/strong>For those who are sick; may they experience the healing hand of God upon them, especially through those who are responsible for their treatment and those who care for them.<\/p>\n

                        <\/strong>Lord in your mercy; hear our prayer.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/strong><\/p>\n

Reader:          <\/strong>For our Parish; may our 40 Hours devotion before the Blessed Sacrament in the coming days bring a fresh outpouring of grace and nourishment in all our lives.<\/p>\n

 <\/strong><\/p>\n

Reader:          <\/strong>On this Remembrance Sunday, we pray for all those who have given their lives in war; may we never forget the bravery and selflessness of those who have died and may we make the preservation of peace in our world a priority for our society.<\/p>\n

Lord in your mercy; hear our prayer.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Reader:          <\/strong>Let us remember especially today (Elizabeth Prescott, Vigil Mass); (Jack Hartley 9.30am Mass); (War Dead of the Parish, 11.00am Mass) (Rose Pinto 6.30pm) for whom this Mass is offered.<\/p>\n

We pray for all the Holy Souls and all those who have died recently, especially Bernadette Ryles, Margaret Riley, Eileen Rogers, Stella Longton, James Parkinson and Cheryl Hooton; may they rest in peace.<\/p>\n

                        Lord in your mercy; hear our prayer.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Reader:          <\/strong>Let us pray for our own private intentions; (pause).   We ask Mary, our Mother, to intercede on our behalf: Hail Mary \u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n
