Irish Night on St Patrick’s Day 17th March

Tickets are now available from the Parish office at St Gerard’s for the Irish Night to be held in the Parochial Centre from 8 pm on 17th March.

Tickets are £15 and this includes a Supper.

We are holding this event in order to raise funds to send two of our Altar Servers to the World Youth Day in Lisbon from 1st to 6th August.

World Youth Day (WYD) is the gathering of young people from all over the world with the Pope. It is also a pilgrimage, a celebration of youth, an expression of the universal Church and an intense moment of evangelization for the youth world. Although its Catholic identity is clearly evident, WYD opens its doors to everyone, no matter how close to or distant from the Church they are.

Entertainment is provided by “The Chorley Cakes Ceilidh Band”
